- Description:
- Basket or carrier. Wood. Oval body with flat bottom and wooden bail handle. Flat-side lap joint with three blunt-pointed fingers fastened with 12 small copper nails. Handle attached to body with five copper nails on one side and five iron nails on the other. Formerly stained yellow, nearly worn off. Sides slightly loosened from base.
