- Measure, dry. Wooden cylinder. Medium brown wood. Wall thickness 0.2". Bent and overlapped to form hoop. Ends tapered. Overlap fastened on outside with several steel tacks in straight line. Overlap ~25% of its circumference. Inside height: 2.9". Bottom is one piece of wood nailed in place with steel tacks. Bottom fastened around edge. Stamped on inside bottom, circular near one edge, serif letters: "...EL ERA / MANUFACTURER / & .../ [S]EALER / WILTON / (last line obscured.)
