- Description:
- Point, biface. Light tan with reddish tints, stone projectile. Probably unfinished. Thick at slightly-rounded end. Tapers to more of a point at opposite end. If thin end is point, shape very short incurvate point with very long and contracting stem. Blade length for that scenario about 1". Stem length about 1.3". If stone turned around, then there is short contracting stem and fairly long ovate shape leading to broad, rounded and very thick point. In either case, stone knapped on all surfaces and edges. One side fairly flat. Other side, slight midrib with very thick section near that end. A number of reddish, irregular-shaped boundary layers going across stone. Stone slightly translucent. Surface slightly shiny than matte but not as shiny as expected for its type.
