- Description:
- Point, biface, Chert Turkey Tail. Stone medium and dark gray projectile.Ovate shape with side notches and contracting base leading to pointed end. Edges and surfaces knapped. Edges relatively flat in horizontal plane. A number of larger facets from knapping on both sides. One side, side notch broken and missing. Base slightly convex sides leading to point. Stone fairly thick about 1/3 of way back from tip. Long taper to pointed base and shorter taper to point. Some broad, dark inclusions in stone that run diagonally across it. Definite surface sheen.
