Description:

Box or chest. Rectangular pine box with hinged lid. Stained mahogany band around top, lid, and base. Light finish on top and sides. Lettered in black on front, "Josiah A. Dadmun." Brass lock for lid and drawer. Lock stamped twice, "Patented Jan. 29, 1861" and "L. Yale's Patent June 27, 1865." on drawer. Four keys included.
