Lead - Provenance:
- Part of musket balls taken on the December 14, 1774 raid on Fort William and Mary. Collected by Major John DeMerit of Madbury, NH, and taken to Durham, where it was stored in the basement of Ebenezer Thompson. A small collection of balls and powder had been preserved by Major John DeMerit and his descendants. Given by John DeMerit of Madbury, great-great grandson of Major John DeMerit.
