- Cartridge Box. Semi-circular wooden cartridge box; three rows of hand-bored holes, 7 front, 8 middle, and 9 back; leather covered. Leather covering fastened to box with nails and brass tacks. Two vertical leather straps on back of box tacked with nails and two brass tacks. Large leather flap hand-stitched to leather cover; short leather strap hand-stitched to flap. Wide leather belt; short leather strap hand-stitched to one end.
