- Description:
- Quarry Hammer, steel and wood. Medium brown, oval cross-section, hardwood handle. Tapers slightly to go through round socket in hammerhead. Wedge missing from top of handle. Hammerhead, opposing circular faces, about 1.4" diameter. Faces cant inward slightly at bottom. Bottom head flat. Top head convex. Corners at hammer faces chamfered. Chamfered tapered smoothly to central section. Sides convex. Surfaces all reasonably smooth. On one side of hammerhead, possibly a small area that had stamped letters, no longer legible.
