- Puzzle, natural history, in paperboard box. 65 strips of animals cut up to be reformed again. Alphabet letters and rhymes are also on the strips of paper. Illustrated chromolithographic cover. Imprinted on cover: "NATURAL HISTORY / JINGLES / LYMAN / & CURTISS / NEW-YORK / COPYRIGHT, 1880 BY SEYMOUR LYMAN". By fitting the strips of the puzzle together, players spell the names of animals and learn about them through clever poems as well as illustrations.
