- Box. Ornately-tooled vertical rectangular leather box with movable brass handle on lid, which opens on two hinges about two-thirds of way up from base. Flower, leaves, crowns, sun, and lion designs are tooled on outside leather covering. Cut-out brass key and lock plates on front; lock plate detached. Lid opening slants diagonally toward top. Interior had flowing red design paper covering the wood.
