- Description:
- Shaker woven poplar box, Canterbury, NH. Square jewel box with rounded corners and hinged cover. Edges bound with white faux leather. Four cream-colored bows on cover, two of which serve as hinges; other two form the closure, with piece of elastic that fits over white button on front. Lined with apple green velvet. Bottom exterior covered with green and white wallpaper. In original cardboard box with white paper exterior and removable cover; cover imprinted in blue, "Manufactured by the / Canterbury / Shakers / EAST CANTERBURY, / NEW HAMPSHIRE".
