- Silhouette. Portrait of Enoch H. Nutter (1801-1880), by Master Hankes (fl. 1826-1831), 1828. Bust-length, cut-and-paste profile silhouette of a man, facing right. Sitter has hair brushed back from forehead, Greek profile nose, and rounded torso. White paper backing.Unsigned. Ink inscription on frame's backing paper: "Enoch Nutter / my great uncle / R.E.G / died April 1880". Gilded gesso over molded wood frame, glazed.
