- Description:
- Chalkboard, slate in wood frame. Light tan, fine grain wood, flat rails joined at corners with mortise and tenon joints. Corners have been pinned. Whole framework has shifted to become trapezoidal. Two small grooves cut as design elements on slanting inside edges of framework on both sides. Some of this design work has been abraded away due to use. Small hole in one short rail with a small leather thong tied through it for hanging the board. Corners just slightly rounded mostly due to abrasions from use.
