Punch Bowl. Made by Tiffany & Company, New York, NY; 1929. Gold. Round body with footed base. Removable scalloped rim. In original wooden case. Engraved inscription on obverse: "Edward Tuck / Upon the records of the Trustees of Dartmouth College / are spread formal resolutions significant of the gratitude / of the official College for your many benefactions / We, as individuals and alumni, having had as Trustees the / opportunity to realize best what the timeliness, the munificence / and the wisdom of your gifts have contributed to the life of / your and our Dartmouth, present to you this first and only replica of the historic President's Punch Bowl as a token of the gratitude and esteem which is Ours and which no / official action can express. Lewis Parkhurst Albert O. Brown H. B. Thayer Ernest Martin Hopkins / C. B. Little Fred A. Howland Charles G. DuBois M. C. Tuttle / E. W. Knight / John R. McLane William R. Gray / 1929". Provenance:

Presented to Edward Tuck by the trustees of Dartmouth College in 1929. A replica of a silver bowl presented by Royal Governor John Wentworth to Dartmouth College founder and President Eleazar Wheelock. Given to the New Hampshire Historical Society upon the death of Edward Tuck as said in his will.
