- Description:
- Oil lamp, Brass and Marble. Spun and stamped brass font. Flattened hemispherical top leads to turned-over shoulder that sits on rounded and slightly tapered bottom section with stamped-in exaggerated petals around perimeter. This is on a turned column with ogee curve and short conical section then another ogee curve then tapered, flared foot. Shallow flared adapter ring soldered to font. Bottom of stone base is recess holding threaded iron shaft. Square brass nut on silvery washer that holds lamp and base together. Some adhesive residues to bottom of stone. Marble has small dark inclusions.
