- Oil Lamp. Pewter. Truncated, inverted cone-shaped reservoir with slightly rounded sides on small stem with flared foot that rests on slightly concave, larger base with flat rim and slightly beveled foot. Round finger ring soldered to flat edge of base. Reservoir has cap with slightly-flared side and threaded section for wick-holder insert. Steel and pewter wick holder; does not fit threads on lamp body. Wick holder has two steel tubes with slots on sides near top and in a cast-threaded holder. Cloth adhesive tape on bottom of base; writing too faded to read.
