- Tin lamp, Rumford. Painted green. One of a pair. Whale oil student lamp. Green shade and base, white "candle." Base square, rising in a curve on four sides to pedestal, a round column flaring out like a candlestick, which holds the "candle." Flaring shade supported by the reservoir.
