- Description:
- Pestle. Medium gray stone. Long tapered cylinder with four slightly-flattened surfaces. Tapered. Larger end rounded, slightly oval. Small end, rounded, slightly off-set. Also has much smaller working surface. Large, smooth divot where chip missing from small end. On one side from larger end, a number of small wear grooves, parallel to each other, running to end. Darker staining around central area of surface. A number small whitish abrasions on surface, overall. Slight brown surface coloration on small end. Small end shows weathering and wear in boundary lines of stone.
