- Description:
- Pestle. Medium gray stone. Shape elongated ellipsoid. One, relatively-flat side with a number of small undulations due to imperfections in stone. More rounded end, a few small worn and smooth small chips missing from very tip. Opposite end, some chips and pieces missing for some time. Slightly irregular shape to that end. Some boundary layers in stone that have created shallow groove around top end. Two more grooves in stone due to weathering and boundary layers, some easier to erode. Some slightly-reflective areas from small grains in stone. Some slight reddish cast to surface to the "flat sides".
