- Watch, gold. Off white, enameled dial. Roman numerals. Minute ticks. Short, minute hand that may be missing end. Hour hand with Fleur-de-Lis design. Verge fusee mechanism. Plate diameter: 1.47". Filigree, balance wheel ridge with engraving and curlycues at its base. Adjacent to it, tarnished silver disc with "12[34]". Four round pillars. Partial plate with plain surface with engraving on it in text: "Rich Gilkes". In block letters: "DEVIZES". Numerals "1799".
