- Watch, silver. Silver bezel on front, finished, but not polished on inside. Outside of bezel, lip around outer edge. A couple of decorative lines around inner edge of face. Raised lip that matches that of bezel on back of case. Inside of case inside back surface, polished but with a number of deep scratches in it. Spring steel latch piece riveted to case on inside. Latch button missing. Marks on inside of case. "F W P" stamped in rectangle in center. Above "WP" stamp of lion rampant facing left. At right, "D". Below "WP", 3-lobed star. Left side image of cat's head facing forward with crown on top of cat. Mechanism case silver. Bezel hinged at top with heavy concave glass with some scratches. Back of case with number of small dents in it. Winding hole in back. Back, convex with rounded edge leading to smooth transition into bezel edge. Flattened bail at top that pivots with fixed stem. Piece polished with just small amount of tarnish around edge. Dial slightly convex, white enamel with black Arabic numbers. Minute ticks. Minutes counted by "15". Square post to adjust time. Gold-tone hands. Hour hand with arrow point. Minute hand simply straight. Large chip lower right corner between 3:00 and 5:30. Small crack adjacent to chip at bottom. Mechanism opens and plate, 1.55" diameter. Balance wheel and bridge missing. Chain loose and inside back cover. Part of dial chip also inside back cover. Back cover polished with stamps on it. Central stamp of fat "I", then "WP". Above it, lion rampant facing left. To right, "D". Below "WP", 3-lobed star. At left, cat's head with crown. In script, "Geo Burr" on mechanism plate. "Dublin" in script. "1182" also on plate. Bit of outline where balance wheel and balance bridge were. Four, round pillars for works.Square winding post there. Hole in plate for verge.
