Colby's father-in-law was Frank Adams Parker (1866-1950), who was part of a family with a long Goffstown history, including his father -- John McGaw Parker (1822-1902) who established Parker's Station RR depot -- and his grandfather -- William Parker (-1839) who established a general store in Goffstown that continued in the family through the 1960s. This item is part of a large clock (and related materials) collection acquired in New Hampshire by the donor.
