- Description:
- Trinket box. Clamshell shape, made of mother-of-pearl. Opalescent interior and exterior. Small waves and undulations on exterior. Interior does not have same high degree of reflectivity. Thin brass band attached to edges of shells. Fairly simple brass hinge on one side. Top and bottom do not quite lock together. A few distortions in brass prevent the locking. Adhesive label on inside: "59-79 c Mrs. L. P. / Latimer". Smaller adhesive label stuck to first: "12/11/59 / Latimer".
