- Description:
- Needle case. Cylindrical wooden tube. Empty. Medium-brown fine-grained hardwood. Straight sides with small collar at base. Several bands of shallow decorative grooves on sides, running from top to bottom. Two small recessed grooves around body where top and bottom meet body, with a gray-colored paint in them. Smooth band at top of cylinder. Very tight-fitting cover, slightly domed with flat edge around outside and cove underneath it that extends inward to meet surface of cylinder. Two rows of concentric decorations on top.
