Description:

Case, cigar, with leather and wood. Flat rectangle with shallow, semi-circular ends. Wooden sides, dark brown color background. On back side, series small circles in a lighter-colored paint that creates a dispersed bubble-like pattern. Brown leather sides folded along edge and the case can expand to hold its contents. Front side, rectangular scene with gold-colored, left and right edges that continue around sides and ends from the box. Scene labeled: "Dartmouth College" at bottom center on front. Scene of 4 buildings. Large central building, 3 storeys high, central short tower with red roof on tower and a cross on top of it. Buildings off-white. Three levels of windows. Central building, 5 chimneys. Building to right, three storeys, pitched roof, gabled end towards front. Two chimneys coming out of it. At left, another 3-story building. Gabled end at front. Two chimneys. At far left, part of building slightly visible with two, possibly three storeys. Possibly a couple chimneys. Possibly a gabled roof. In front of buildings, lawns and walkways. Eight people walking and one person on horseback. In front of building, two-rail fence with and end post. In lower right corner, corner of a lot with board fence on two sides. Five small trees along road in center. Two larger trees framing scene on either side.
