- Case, card, Mother-Of-Pearl, wood, velvet, ivory, nickel alloy. Flat rectangular. Hinge cover at one end. Interior rectangular slot, ivory at its interface surfaces on top and bottom. Slot lined with orange-red velvet material. Usable slot width: 2.47", depth 0.15". Case bottom section depth: 3.1". Cover: 0.8" deep. Outside surfaces covered with mother-of-pearl in diamond-shaped pieces. Three diamonds high and three wide. Intermediate pieces, diamond-shape sections to make up entirety. Outside edges, rectangular pieces of mother-of-pearl. Small plaque on top 0.67" long, 0.14" wide. Diamond-shaped pieces laid out accommodate the ivory interface pieces in the design, making design continuous to the break. The three-knuckle hinge, set into wood substrate. On cover, section of wood missing, but mother-of-pearl piece over it exists.
