- Description:
- Snuffbox, round. Dark brown, painted, wooden. Top surface slightly domed. Top curves down to beaded edge with slight cove under it. Bottom, cove leading to beaded edge and slight curve to a flat bottom. Small, raised lip on inside of bottom that engages top. Small areas where edge slightly damaged and slightly chipped. Inside and outside painted a gloss, dark brown. Some surface residues of inside of bottom. On top, printed scene in silver with slight blue wash over parts of it. Scene consists of side-wheel, steam paddle boat on left side heading towards Some distance structures and land behind it and to the right. Scratches through the scene and age cracks in paint.
