Iron has flat, top edge. Has long clipped corners with long shallow angles. Top edge turned over in both directions from being struck. Blade stamped, rectangular with semi-circular top edge. Bottom edge not well struck. Left, right, and arch have serrated outer edges. Inside arch is raised, semi-circular area. In center of that is chevron depression with 8-pointed star in center of it. Horizontally "MILFORD N.H" . In the semi-circular space between text is raised, 5-pointed star with depressed circle in center. Around star are alternating high and low rays, radiating towards edges.
