- Plaque, brass. Rectangular, with beveled edge and pointed corners. Engraved and raised lettering: "RUEL COLBY / SPORTSWRITER OF THE YEAR / 1960 / NEW HAMPSHIRE / CHOSEN BY HIS CONTEMPORARIES". Impressed numerals on reverse: "4621". Two threaded studs on reverse.
