- Description:
- Hinge, strap, iron. Single knuckle strap hinge 7" long. Knuckle formed and rolled over onto front surface. Not welded. Three horizontal, rectangular holes in strap. Strap stock about 0.2" thick. Strap roughly tapers from 1" to 0.75" at square end. Crack in top of rectangular hole at end of strap. Loop section of hinge slightly tapering rectangle, 0.5" long. Near loop, height of strap is 1.65" and near flat end is 2.5" high. Stock in this area varies from 0.2" to 0.1" thick. Five horizontally rectangular holes in this portion of strap. One hole near each corner. One in center. Loop section turns up at end of strap so both portions of hinge can be surface metal. Surface of loop section somewhat rough due to hammering, edges uneven due to workmanship.
