- Description:
- Wrought iron strap hinge. Straight hinge that tapers to bean-style end. Strap extends about 17" then starts to taper down to end; widest about 10" from end. Eye wrapped around, folded over, and welded onto back. Carriage bolt with two washers, square nut, and partially broken round head, 5" length. Shaft of nut has some small bends in it. Strap has large bend in it that is concave from front. Wear on bottom of hinge eye. Some marks and partial delamination of strap near sixth hole from hinge that may indicate weld was done at that area. Crack on inside on bean area about 0.8" long that runs parallel to length of strap.
