- Description:
- Bolts, six, wrought -iron, hand-forged bolts with iron nuts. Bolts roughly round, with slightly domed head. Bolt shafts square. Heads may be separate from shaft and have shaft peened over head then smoothed. All bolts except one have heavy layer of some type of filler and dark green paint on top of the filler. Some paint residues on surfaces of nuts. All nuts are roughly square; some are a little thicker than others. Some nuts more finished on their sides and some have slightly rougher sides. Square shafts all taper slightly to bottom end where threads were cut by die. A couple bolts pass slightly through nuts and the rest are slightly recessed before they jam onto the threads.
