- Description:
- Latch, door. Wrought iron. Curved handle with bean-shaped pads at top and bottom. Three slightly irregular holes in each pad. Below top pad is rectangular shank with vertical rectangular hole in it. Latch bar passes through hole and pivots on horizontal pin that is peened flush on both sides. This latch bar extends 2.1" from back of handle. Flattened, semi-circular handle flat on back side and slightly curved on front. It swells at its center section. Sides of curved handle slightly flattened. Handle rises 1.7" above door surface. Hammer and tool marks on back surfaces of pads.
