- Description:
- Boot scraper. Wrought iron. Two roughly square, vertical posts with rectangular scraping bar between them. Post stock about 0.5" square. Top decorative end of each post is thinned and turned outward to create loop that comes back around to edge of post. One decorative loop is pushed down slightly; not as circular as the other. Bottom ends of post tapered to point 0.2" on a side. Blade is vertically-oriented bar stock about 1" high and 0.15" thick. Ends of blade have tenons that pass through rectangular slots in vertical posts; nearly flush on outside surfaces. Evidence of wear on top surface of blade near center. Center of blade about 0.1" narrower than edges. Edges of bar stock below blade are slightly beveled. Blade width 6.7".
