- Hook. Wrought iron. Top is tapered straight spike to be driven into wood. Rectangular shaft extends downward, then curves up to slightly elongated hook. Small tapered point at end of hook. Inside of hook is straight; tapered portion is on front surface. Slight bulge on sides of front surface of shaft near straight point, which is probably from hook being driven into something.
