- Description:
- Whistle used on Concord and Montreal Railroad. Cast metal alloy. Two cylindrical sections. Two mouth pieces and two triangular slots near mouthpieces. Small iron ring that passes through cast loop on one side of one section of whistle. Small loose pellet inside one side of whistle. Connected by flange area cast into one piece. The two pieces rotate. Cast letter in one side:
"DEPOSE". Mold marks on sides of both pieces. Piece with pellet has mold mark around perimeter. - Material:
