- Description:
- Foundry tool, brass. Slightly oval shaft connects two rectangular feet with slightly convex bottom surfaces. Feet have straight sides and hollow areas inside top surface. At back of each foot, rectangular upward-curving shaft ~0.7" long. Shaft then transforms into oval shape. Sides of shaft have diagonal file marks. Outside surfaces of feet are smooth. Surfaces of depressions on top of each foot are rough with sand-cast-like surface. Larger foot has slight depression on top edge of toe, 1.7" long. Small foot same length, 0.4" wide. Width of larger foot same as depth of tool.
