- Textile sample box. Rectangular wooden box with hinged lid. Stamped (impressed) on lid in black: "Compliments of / Amoskeag Manufacturing Company / Manchester, New Hampshire."; with company trademark, "AMCo", in red, white, and black. Interior divided into compartments that are labelled to accommodate samples of wool and cotton. Brass hinges and latch. Box (finger) joints at corners.
