- Rolling Pin. Turned wood. Roughly double-tapered from center outward; piece shrunk. Oval in cross-section. Slightly bent from one end to the other. Small grooves around circumference that would be unusual for rolling pin. Shallow groove cut into one end with cord in it for hanging device. Dark brown, fine-grained heavy wood.
