- Shoe Peg Block, wood. Light tan, fine-grained wood. Numerous aligned shoe pegs points on top surface that are diamond-shaped because grooves cut into wood meet at acute angle. Approximately ten pegs per inch. Missing area coincides with wood at very center of tree. Red writing on back "4" and 3 other marks undecipherable.
