- Description:
- Pencil holder, with handle. Wooden. 56 holes. Rectangular. Backsides slightly tapered toward handle. Groove on all sides around edge. Some circles worn in top surface in three areas. Finish on top is abraded somewhat near center. Some small dents on left side, center, and near front. Some nails near handle attachment point to hold wood together where it is split at end. Loose sliver on left side, associated with split on end. Perhaps used in home manufacture of pencils using a kit.
