- Description:
- Tea caddy, tin. Pointed oval shape with flat top and bottom. Hinged lid fits over flange on body, giving sides a smooth line. Brass ornamented loop handle centered on lid surrounded by applied flower petals. Entire piece painted black. Gold line with zigzag band inside around top edge of lid. Sides of lid filled with decorative ornamented gold band. Shield shaped keyhole escutcheon applied, fine decoration around it in gold.
